Promoting a collection of short stories is always a tricky task, especially when said collection spans genres and styles. When there are over 85,000 words in 32 stories, it’s hard to choose which ones to promote for the overall collection. Do you share something that’s science fiction and alienate the speculative fiction fans, or share a romance and lose the interest of your historical fiction fans? I decided that for me, it doesn’t matter. People just love a good story. So put your best foot forward and let the words speak for you.
Some Call It Love is an award-winning story I never shared outside the contest. It is a traditional Crime/Noir piece with all the elements you love from dime novel detective adventures.
